These mouth watering burgers will impress the whole family and friends!
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef mince
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp mixed dry herbs
- salt and pepper
- 40 g - 60 g cheddar or gouda cheese
- oil
Mushroom sauce:
- 25 g butter
- 25 g flour
- 300 ml milk
- 125 g mushrooms
- 1 clove of garlic chopped finely
Place the mince into a bowl and stir it loose with a fork. Add the soy sauce, herbs, salt and black pepper. Mix the ingredients together well and portion it out into 4-6
(depending on how big you want your burgers). Cut the cheese into 4-6 blocks. Form each of the portions into a ball and then half it and press both halves a bit flat. Put the cheese onto the flat pressed mince and then add the other flat pressed mince on top, then form a patty with the mince and cover so that the cheese does not stick out. Now your burger patty is ready to be cooked either in the oven for 7 minutes on each side in about 180C on a grill pan or putting it on a grill on the barbecue!

For the mushroom sauce:
Fry the garlic in a bit of butter in a pan. Add the mushrooms and cook them until soft and browned. Melt the butter in a pot, then add the flour and stir for a min. Put the heat off and slowly add the milk. Reheat the pot slowly until the mixture starts to boil and thicken, while stirring the whole time. Now add the mushrooms to the mixture and stir until combined and it turns a nice brown colour. Now its time to add the sauce to your burger! Add some tomatoes and rocket on top of the sauce. Serve with a salad or some potato wedges :)
