This creamy pasta will be a hit for your next supper!
Ingredients:
- 400-500g chicken sliced into small pieces
- 250g mushrooms
- 1-2 tbsp oil
- salt and black pepper
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups whipping cream / heavy cream
- 115g cream cheese
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- fresh or dried chives
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
In a saute pan add oil and heat. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook chicken pieces until cooked through. Remove and put aside on plate. Fry some mushrooms in the same pan until browned and tender. Remove and put aside with chicken. In the same pan, scrape any crispy bits off pan and add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, italian seasoning, chives, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth. Add the grated parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Add your chicken and mushrooms and cook until reheated. Toss it with your favorite pasta!
