Minute steak, homemade chips and veggies :)

This is a easy and delicious meal that you have to try out!

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of minute steak
  • 3 medium to large potatoes
  • Broccoli, cauliflower and baby corn
  • Any preferred sauce for the steak (Pepper, cheese, garlic, BBQ, etc.)
  • Salt, pepper and chip spice
  • Chives to garnish
  • Soy sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • flour
  • Cheese sauce for the veggies
  • 1-2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Butter

Chips:             Preheat the oven to 250C. Place a baking sheet on a baking tray. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into pieces and then into chips (any size you want). Place the chips in a plastic bag and pour in the olive oil until it is just coated, then season the chips with salt, pepper and chips spice and shake the bag around to evenly coat the chips with the spice. Place the chips on the baking tray apart from each other and bake for 15 mins, turn the chips around to the other side and bake for another 15 mins to crisp up.
Veggies:         Cut the veggies into preferred size and put enough water in a pot and then add the veggies. Boil for about 20-30 mins until soft.
Steak:             Trim excess fat off the steak. Add some soy sauce to a plastic bag, then add then steak and shake to coat evenly. Dip each steak into the egg wash and then roll it into the flour. Add some olive oil to a pan and cook the minute steak until the coating gets a nice brown colour. Add cheese sauce to the veggies and add some preferred sauce to the steak. Sprinkle some chopped chives onto the veggies and steak for extra flavour.
