Double chocolate chip cookies


Here's a great recipe for all those with a sweet tooth out there! Chocolate chip cookies is a classic cookie that everyone loves. 

Makes 12 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 125 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 150 self raising flour
  • 150 g chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 190C. Line two baking trays with grease proof paper. Beat the butter with the sugar until light in colour. Gradually beat in the egg before sifting the flour into the mixture. Beat until well mixed. Stir in the chocolate chips and mix it evenly through. Drop dessertspoons of the mix onto the baking trays well apart. Bake in the oven for 12-15 mins. Remove from the oven and leave for a min or so to let them become firm enough to place onto a wire cooling rack.
